Quoted from the official Meta website, here are the steps to obtain the paid verification badge on Instagram and Facebook:
- Open “Settings” on Instagram or Facebook. Click “Accounts Center,” then select “Meta Verified.”
- If it is available for your account, you will see “Meta Verified available” below your name and profile photo.
- Choose the desired payment method for monthly payments.
- Complete the verification process by providing an official government-issued photo ID and, if requested, a selfie video to confirm your identity. Once the verification is successful, you will be approved to subscribe to Meta Verified.
Meta Verified was announced in February 2023, directly by CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
