Loy’s dedication to fashion and culture didn’t stop at Paris Fashion Week. As a passionate advocate for traditional heritage in contemporary contexts, she took on an internship with SOE Jakarta, a prominent Indonesian fashion brand known for integrating traditional motifs with modern flair.
Her role as an intern assistant designer allowed her to deepen her understanding of the fashion industry while working with a brand that shared her vision of cultural fusion. Loy further expanded her skill set and cultural outreach through her freelance TikTok Talent Consultant role with the ASEAN Foundation, where she used social media to spotlight cultural diversity and promote positive regional representation.
Following graduation, Loy continued her professional journey as a full-time marketing executive for Zando Group in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Despite a demanding schedule, she remained committed to personal growth and community outreach, using her social media platforms to share insights into mental health and cultural pride. This dedication to self-improvement and cultural awareness fueled her motivation to participate in the Miss Cambodia 2024 competition, ultimately leading to her victory and her role as a representative of her home nation, Cambodia, on a global stage.
