UECP describes itself as the largest uranium enrichment company “not only in Russia but also in the world.” Its facility accounts for 48% of Russia’s enrichment capacity, according to its website.
“The facility plays a key role in the production of nuclear fuel for power plants and other nuclear energy systems,” stated the UECP release.
